On September 27th, an agreement was reached between the “Comité Intercentros” of Siemens S.A. (with majority of CCOO) and the representatives of Siemens in Spain regarding the "Registration of Working Time".

On September 26th, 30 union representatives from 13 European countries held a meeting in Nuremberg, Germany, to discuss the consequences of the decision to spin off the energy business from Siemens.

On August 29th 2019, IG Metall invited union representatives from the European countries with the major part of the employees of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) to Frankfurt.

This year´s union representatives meeting under the International Framework Agreement (IFA) of Siemens took place on July 15th/16th 2019 in São Paulo, Brazil. The local participants came from Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

On July 10th, the deputy president of the Turkish union Türk Metal, Halil Faki Erdal, visited the Siemens Switchgear Factory in Frankfurt together with Albayrak Halil and Keklik Ismael, union representatives from the Siemens switchgear factory in Gebze, Turkey, and Burak Ekmekçioğlu, the International Secretary of Türk Metal.

On June 19th, 2019, union representatives from the Siemens locations in Mohelnice, Letohrad/Králiky, Frenštát, Drásov, Trutnov and Štětí (all Czech Republic) met with Gábor Kun from Siemens in Budapest, Christian Schaller from Siemens Austria, Martina Schneller from the Austrian union PRO-GE and Harald Kern, the chairman of the Siemens Europe Committee (SEC).

On May 28th/29th 2019, employee representatives from Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Netherlands, Romania, Belgium, Poland, Norway, Slovakia, Croatia, Finland, Bulgaria and Greece met in Warsaw for the annual meeting of the Siemens Europe Committee (SEC).

On May 14th-16th, 35 union representatives from Siemens locations all over the US and Canada met in San Antonio, Texas, for their annual meeting to exchange information and to discuss their issues. The meeting was organized and hosted by Randy Middleton and Brian Lamm from IBEW and was led by the Steering Committee of the unions represented at Siemens in the US and Canada.

Union representatives from Siemens Germany and IG Metall visited Beijing for a workshop together with 17 union representatives from Siemens China. The central topic was the ongoing digitalization.

In the week from September 17th – 21st, 2018, union representatives from Siemens from 11 countries held an assembly in Munich. The meeting was this year´s meeting under the International Framework Agreement of Siemens.
