Siemens' new plant for Smart Infrastructure products at Fort Worth, Texas, is close to the factory in Grand Prairie, where the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) has been representing workers for many years. Since the US-management refused to acknowledge IBEW as representation of the workers in Fort Worth, although IBEW could prove the support of the majority of the workers, IBEW had to go the way of a union election according to US law.

On September 18th/19th, 2024, the European Works Council (EWC) of Siemens Energy held its 4th meeting in Porto. 26 delegates from 15 countries (Germany, UK, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, France, Hungary, Romania, Norway, Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy and Netherlands) took part in the meeting. Only the delegate from Poland was missing.

On September 13th/14th, 2023, the European Works Council (EWC) of Siemens Energy had its annual meeting in Brande, Denmark. 28 delegates from 17 countries (Germany, Spain, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Norway, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania) took part in the meeting. Only one delegate from the UK was missing.
